Beside Academics, Lumumba Secondary School also gives high priority to Sports.

In the School compound, there is a wide football (soccer) field for students to play on and perform their practices. On every Friday, there are school friendly matches being played on the football field between classes and classes which is administered by the students’ government and sports teachers. The school also has It’s very own football team.

Moreover, there isn’t quite a Basketball Court but the school administration has done a great effort to start a basketball team and they play and perform in different school leagues.

In the past, there have been other sports being played but for now they are faded. Sports like Volleyball and Table Tennis.
