A library is one of the most important room for Lumumba students to seek extra knowledge when the teacher is done teaching a topic or researching for home-work answers. It is located next to the headmaster’s office and is available for all students in the school (Ordinary Level & Advance level) and teachers.

It is open from 7:30am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The library is monitored by 3 school Librarians and students are given the opportunity equally to be lend books and returning them after they are done so as for the next students to obtain them.

The school administration has done a great effort in filling the library shelves with variety of books including those of school subjects (Chem, Bio, Phys, Eng, Kisw, Maths) and others of self-leisure and general knowledge like history books and story books. However, the books present are not enough to accommodate all the number of students but the school administration is trying their best to solve that issue.

The approximate numbers of students that can be held in the library is 40 students at once and it is the best place for self-revision.
