COMPUTER ROOM

In our school , we do have one computer room which was established about 20 yeas ago, and at that time was known as STATIONERY which dealt with different services like:

• Selling pens, books, and those associated with stationery.

For this time , our room offer different services like:

• Photocopying service for different documents of teachers and students.
• Printing services for school documents.
• Binding folders.

Old fashioned books are still used for new syllabus.

Insufficient library activities and programs to activate and encourage a book request.

Environment are not friendly to students and books as well , a lot of dust coming inside the library through the window.

There is lack of books for O-level and A-level students that are going along with current syllabus.

GOALS OF COMPUTER ROOM

The main goal of specializing this room is to make Lumumba’s students aware on how to use computer professionally.

Making computer room to be stationery which will offer all available services to the students and teachers.

Educating students I.C.T(Information and communication technology) subject by using special curriculum and be able doing I.C.T exams.

CHALLENGES

Shortage of chances for the purposes of leading computer classes.

Shortage of facilities of teaching computer ,like computers ,chair and tables for sitting while learning and teaching and projectors.

There are many students in some classes, this leads in the grouping them thus group wise class.
